Case study
The Black Onyx Group
The Black Onyx Group is a fully accredited and certified premier service provider specialising in professional security, facilities management and enforcement solutions. Founded by veterans and established with a vision to deliver top-tier service provisions, they focus on ensuring the safety, efficiency, and operational excellence of businesses and organisations across various sectors.
About the group
The Black Onyx Group runs several businesses across security, facilities, enforcement and training, each with its own services and its own customers.

The challenge
The group needed a partner who could take responsibility for the websites across all of its businesses, and grow with it.
Its previous setup was fragmented. The website did not reflect the quality of the group’s work or support its plans for growth. With several businesses under one roof, there was no joined-up presence that clearly explained what each one did, who it served and the standard it worked to. Prospective clients struggled to understand the scale of the organisation or to find consistent information across its sectors.
There was no reliable way to handle updates, content changes or new projects. Keeping the website going had become reactive rather than planned, taking time and attention away from running the businesses. Underneath, there were technical problems affecting speed, usability and security. In a premium market, those weaknesses undermined credibility and did little to support sales conversations.
Black Onyx needed more than a rebuild. It needed a partner it could rely on for whatever came next.

What we did
We started by building a separate website for each business in the group. Each one sets out its own services, value and specialist capabilities clearly, while still feeling connected to the wider group.
We paid particular attention to presenting trust, compliance, experience and professional standards clearly and confidently, and built every site for clarity, speed and credibility.
Once the sites launched, the work became ongoing. Updates, new service pages, content and improvements are handled directly by Wrev. Rather than managing it in-house or chasing freelancers, the group raises a request and the change is made quickly and properly.
Behind the scenes, we look after hosting, security, uptime monitoring and speed across every site. Plugin updates, downtime risks and broken content are dealt with before anyone has to notice.

The results
Each business now has a clear, professional website that describes its services accurately, positioning the group as a credible, experienced provider of security and facilities management. Prospective clients and partners understand what each business offers without having to ask, so conversations start further along.
The websites also save the team time. Instead of explaining services by hand or sending out PDFs, staff point enquiries to pages that set out capabilities, experience and standards.
With Wrev handling updates, content and technical support, the group no longer carries the burden of maintaining its websites. Routine changes are made quickly and consistently, and new services and announcements go live without delay.
The sites are faster, more secure and more reliable, backed by constant monitoring and regular updates, and the leadership team can see how they are performing.

After launch
Every Black Onyx site is hosted, secured, updated and backed up by Wrev. When the group needs something changed on any of them, it asks, and it gets done.
Speak to a developer, not a salesperson.
Pick a time that suits you and bring whatever you want to ask.
