B3M Ltd trading as Wrev · Last updated 14 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data B3M Ltd trading as Wrev collects, why we use it, who we share it with and the rights you have. "We", "us" and "our" means B3M Ltd trading as Wrev. It covers this website and the Wrev app, on the web and on iPhone.
Who we are
We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. B3M Ltd is a company registered in the UK, company number 14621431, with its registered office at Mitre House, Pitt Street West, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 3JW. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@wrev.io.
What we collect
When you visit this website
This website does not use advertising cookies, it only uses analytics if you agree to it, and we do not build a profile of you from your visit.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our server records technical details of each request, such as your IP address, your browser and the page asked for. We use these to keep the site running and secure.
- Fonts. The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.
- Analytics, if you accept. If you choose Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics records how the site is used, such as the pages viewed, how you arrived and roughly where you are, and sets cookies to recognise repeat visits. If you choose Reject, or ignore the banner, it does not load at all.
When you chat to us or book a demo
- Chat. If you use "Speak to a human", we collect your name, your email address and the messages you send, so that we can reply. Your browser keeps a small identifier, called wrev_chat_token, in local storage so the conversation is still there if you come back. It is not used for anything else, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.
- Booking a demo. Demo bookings are handled by Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com collects your name, your email address and anything you add to the booking, and shares it with us. The call takes place on Google Meet.
When you use the Wrev app
- Your account. Your name, your email address, the business you work for and your login details.
- Your requests and messages. What you ask us to do, the conversations attached to each request and any files you upload.
- Data from your website. To run your site and let you ask about it, we process data from it and from the services you connect, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and WooCommerce. This can include personal data about your own customers, such as order details. For that data we act as your processor, on your instructions, and you remain the controller.
- The iPhone app. If you allow notifications, the app stores a push notification token for your device until you turn notifications off or delete the app. It does not access your location, contacts or photos.
Why we use it
- To provide our services. Running your account, hosting and maintaining your site, and working on your requests. The legal basis is our contract with you.
- To reply to you. Answering chat messages, demo bookings and emails, and keeping a record of what was said. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running our business and talking to people who contact us.
- To understand how the website is used. Only if you accept analytics cookies, so we can see which pages help people and which do not. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
- To keep things secure. Protecting and maintaining our website, the Wrev app and our hosting. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our systems and our clients' sites.
- To meet our legal obligations. For example, keeping accounting records. The legal basis is legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Your AI assistant
When you connect an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Grok to your site, you connect your own account with that provider. What your assistant reads from your site is sent to that provider and handled under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours, and we do not control what the provider does with it. Our terms explain this in more detail.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers to run our services. They process personal data on our behalf and on our instructions:
- Railway hosts the Wrev app and its database.
- Postmark sends the app's emails, such as request updates and the weekly report.
- Our hosting providers supply the servers this website and our clients' websites run on.
- Cal.com handles demo bookings, and Google provides Google Meet for demo calls, the fonts on this website and, if you accept it, Google Analytics.
We may also share personal data with our professional advisers and insurers where that is needed, or where the law requires it. If B3M Ltd or its business is sold or restructured, personal data may pass to the new owner, who would have to treat it in line with this policy.
Where it is stored
The Wrev app's data is stored in the UK or the European Union. Some of the providers above are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. If you are a client, we keep your account data for as long as you have a plan with us. Otherwise, personal data is kept for two years after your last interaction with us and then deleted. Some records, such as invoices, we have to keep for longer to meet legal requirements, generally six years.
You can delete your Wrev app account at any time from Profile, then Delete Account, or by emailing us. This removes your name, email address and profile picture and ends your access. We may keep a record of the work carried out on your site, without those details, for our business records. Deleting your Wrev account explains the process in full.
Keeping it secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections between your browser and our website and app, and access limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, so if you think your account or data has been put at risk, email us straight away.
Cookies and similar technology
This website does not set advertising cookies. If you accept analytics on the cookie banner, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which recognise repeat visits. Nothing is set for analytics until you accept. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage, as wrev_cookie_choice, and you can change it at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
The site also stores the chat identifier described above, which the chat needs in order to work. The Cal.com booking calendar may set its own cookies when it loads, and the Wrev app uses cookies or similar browser storage to keep you logged in.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your personal data
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it
- ask for your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it
Some of these rights have exceptions, for example where we have to keep records by law. To use any of them, email hello@wrev.io. We will not charge you, and we will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at hello@wrev.io so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not aimed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the way we use personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated, and if a change affects clients, we will also tell you by email or in the app.
