About Carter

With more than 400 completed projects, a turnover above £20 million and accreditations including NICEIC, CHAS Elite and SafeContractor, Carter Complete Building Services has built a strong reputation for reliable, high-quality delivery. As the business takes on larger and more complex multi-disciplinary projects, its website has to keep up.

The challenge

Carter wins contracts in healthcare, education and commercial development, and each one is a chance to show what the company can do. Every new project, case study, testimonial and accreditation needs to reach the website while it is still news.

That used to mean going back to an outside supplier, which added delays and friction just when the company needed to move quickly. For a firm competing on complex M&E contracts, where credibility matters from the first impression, a website that lagged behind the work was costing it opportunities.

Carter needed a partner who would look after the site day to day and keep building on it, to the same standard the company keeps on site.

What we do for them

The site shows the company’s full capability across mechanical, electrical, renewables and design services, with completed projects showcased by sector and the accreditations and track record front and centre.

We keep it growing. A projects map came first, then case studies with embedded video, client testimonials, a quote form and partner logos. More recently we added search to the projects page and an archive of older projects, each pinned to its location on the map.

There is a blog, a newsletter sign-up and social links too, and each new job, testimonial or article goes up as a request. The site is hosted, secured, updated and backed up by Wrev throughout.

The current site is one we built for them, and we have looked after it since.

The results

Carter has a website that reflects the true scale and capability of the business. It clearly communicates the company’s services, sectors, project history and accreditations, giving prospective clients and project managers confidence from the first visit.

The team does not have to chase updates or worry about out-of-date content. New projects go up quickly, information stays current, and the site keeps pace with the company’s growth. For a business built on precision and accountability, the website sets the same expectation.
