WordPress support and maintenance
Weekly report
yoursite.co.uk
27 October to 2 November
An example report. Yours arrives every week.
The problem
Most WordPress trouble comes from a site nobody owns: updates put off, backups never tested and every change waiting in someone else’s queue.
One update might break a page, so they wait, and the site falls months behind.
Out-of-date plugins are the most common way into a WordPress site.
There is a backup somewhere, probably. Nobody knows if it would work.
Every edit waits on a web agency or a freelancer, so small jobs take weeks.
How the takeover works
No rebuild and no starting again. If your site passes our checks, it joins your membership with no migration fee, and we look after it from then on.
We look over the site with you: supported, maintained software, no malware, full access to the site and its hosting, and built in a way we can look after.
We move it onto our hosting as it is, and you check it before anything switches over.
Anything already wrong with it goes on your list as a request, and we work through it.
From then on we keep it updated, secure and backed up, and make every change you send.
You choose: we fix those problems first as requests, we move it off WordPress for free, or we build you a new site, with no build fee.
What’s included
New pages, campaign changes, forms, integrations and fixes. Send as many as you like.
One developer who knows your site and your business, with our team behind them.
Fast hosting with SSL and a CDN, set up and looked after by us.
Everything your site runs on, kept up to date, with a backup before every update.
We watch the site for threats and deal with known weaknesses before they are a problem.
If anything goes wrong, we can put it back the way it was.
If the site goes down, we know first, and fixing it is always urgent.

Yes. We look after sites on our own hosting, so we can keep them fast, secure and backed up, and fix them quickly if anything goes wrong.
Anything you would ask a web developer to do: new pages, layout changes, forms, integrations and fixes. Bigger jobs are broken into smaller requests.
We work through them one at a time, in the order you choose. If you are busy, you can add an extra request at a time.
We are alerted straight away, and fixing it is always urgent, whatever else is in your queue.
Three months, then month to month.
Yes. If you decide to leave WordPress behind, we move the site for you, free.

What stops people finding you in Google, trusting the site or getting in touch.
Security gaps, out-of-date software and plugins with known problems.
Signs nobody is looking after the site: dead links, abandoned plugins, an old page builder.
